Returns Policy
1. Unjustified Return of Products
(right of withdrawal without reason)
The customer reserves the right to return the products he purchased, in accordance with Greek Law 2251/94 article 3b on consumer protection, without reason, within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt of the products.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:
Withdrawals and returns are not allowed
1) For special orders (product manufactured according to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized, after a written agreement – order).
2) Where the products have been modified at the customer’s request.
3) For damages caused when opening the product, for which the customer is solely responsible.
Returns will be strictly accepted only if the following conditions are met:
1) The product is in its original excellent condition. The check will be carried out by the manager of our online store.
2) The product packaging has not been damaged or soiled, but is in excellent condition.
3) The product is returned in a safe package so that it is not damaged during transport. We are not responsible for any loss or damage during transit of the product.
4) Along with the product, all documents will be returned intact and in perfect condition.
5) In the event that the product is accompanied by a gift, the gift must be returned together with the product, also in excellent condition of it and the forms that may accompany it.
6) The customer does not exercise his right of withdrawal within the above period of 14 calendar days from the date of dispatch of the products.
The customer, in order to exercise the right of withdrawal, must contact us, informing us of his decision to withdraw, with an unconditional, non-negotiable and time-limit, by telephone or by e-mail (info@chatzistravos.gr) before the above deadline expires of 14 days.
After notification of the customer’s declaration of withdrawal, a confirmation of receipt will be sent to his e-mail.
The customer must return the products in safe packaging, so that they are protected during shipping, without undue delay and in any case within 14 calendar days from the day on which he announced, as above, in our online store, his decision to withdraw.
The return is the responsibility of the customer as we are not responsible for any loss or damage during transport.
The cost of return will be borne by the customer, chatzistravos.gr will not receive the products if this cost has not already been covered by the customer.
In the event that the above is not observed and the product does not meet the aforementioned conditions, the return of the product will not be accepted and the product will be sent back to the customer-sender at the customer’s expense.
As long as the product is received, the declaration of withdrawal is within the deadline, all the above conditions are met and the above procedure for exercising the customer’s right of withdrawal is followed, the return of the products will be accepted.
The refund corresponding to the price of the products ordered by the customer (the initial shipping costs are not refundable), will be completed without undue delay and in any case within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day of receipt of the returned products.
The refund will be made via deposit to the customer’s bank account. For security reasons, the beneficiary of the account number must be the same person listed on the purchase receipt for the returned product.
In the event that the customer does not wish to return the money but exchange the product with another or other products, up to the amount of the price paid or with the payment of an additional price, under the express condition that the product to be exchanged remains intact and unused. In the event that the changed product is of lesser value than that of your original order, chatzistravos.gr will not refund the monetary difference, therefore you should choose an add-on so that your new order is of equal or greater value than the original. For the above, you should fill in the product(s) in detail on the product withdrawal/return form (Appendix 1, after the end of the Terms of Use).
Shipping costs for new products are borne by the customer and products will be shipped after receipt and inspection of the original product(s) as detailed above (fulfilment of conditions).
Change for a second time, i.e. change of already changed products is not allowed.
2. Reasoned Return of Products
In the rare event that the customer receives a demonstrably defective product due to the fault of chatzistravos.gr or a product that lacks an agreed feature or is worn during transport or the wrong product, he must inform us immediately by describing the problem and notifying us if he wishes to have it replaced or returned of his money.
Especially, in these cases the customer can:
1. Either refuse to receive the product in the first place and request the delivery of the product he ordered, if it is the wrong product being sent, or its correction/replacement if it is a defective product or a product that lacks an agreed quality.
2. Either to receive the product and return it by requesting the delivery of the product ordered, if it is a shipment of the wrong product or its correction/replacement if it is a defective product or a product that lacks an agreed quality, or a refund of the price paid.
